Washington: American lawyer Larry Klayman and his advocacy group Freedom Watch along with Texas company Buzz Photos have filed the lawsuit against the Chinese government, Chinese army, the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Director of Wuhan Institute of Virology Shi Zhengli and Chinese army's Major General Chen Wei. The plaintiffs have sought out USD 20 trillion, which is bigger than China's GDP. They claimed that China is responsible for the creation and release of the novel Coronavirus, which has infected nearly half-million people and took more than 22,000 lives across the globe as per the latest data of the World Health Organization. China had violated US laws, international laws, treaties and norms, claimed by them. They had alleged that the virus was released from the Wuhan Virology Institute. The plaintiffs also claimed that COVID-19 is an extremely dangerous disease because it has an extremely aggressive nature. It was designed to mutate from person to person, spreads very quickly and easily. On account of being a new disease, no vaccine exists. There is no diagnosis in the means of transmission and treatments are only just being worked out. The disease appears to be about ten times as deadly as the flu.
