India on complete lockdown for 21 days

In the light of coronavirus spreading rapidly across the world, the death rates are also increasing.

Observing the critical situation in his own country, Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, today announced that India will be on complete lockdown for the next 21 days.

“Today India is at the stage where our actions today, will decide that to what extent we can bring down the impact of this disaster. This is the time to strengthen our resolve again and again,” he said in his address.

But Modi asked people not to create any panic about groceries, toiletries and all other necessary items for the household. “We are taking all steps to ensure a continuous supply of essential commodities,” he mentioned.

PM said that he is well aware that the decision will impact the economy of the country but saving people's lives is of paramount interest at this point.

"If we don't handle these 21 days well, then our country, your family will go backward by 21 years," he asserted.

There will be a complete bar on people from stepping outsides their homes, he informed.

Therefore, unity and cooperation of the whole country is required at this time and the PM urged people to pray for people working at the hospitals, airports, roads not caring about their own lives.
