When life gets hard, you're there in our loneliness. Happy Birthday Arijit Singh.

Dear Arijit (@arijitsingh),

I wasn't a big fan of Bollywood songs until I stumbled upon you and your soulful voice. I wonder how someone can be so proficient at having a song for every emotion we feel in our day-to-day lives.

No matter if it's the celebration of friendship (Tera yaar hoon main), or cherishing an eternal love (Tum hi ho), or crying over a heartbreaking end of a relationship (Channa Mereya), you are always there to rescue us from sinking into the abyss of melancholia.

Listening to you heals people who have been feeling sad lately. Your voice is like a spell taking us to another world. I reckon that your journey has been incredible and your voice doesn't only win the hearts of thousands or millions, but it soothes the soul and mitigates the pain

When nothing seems right, a few words from you make us feel a million times better. Every time you have seen singing, you hold us spellbound and we can't help ourselves from feeling the roots of emotion you put into it. Your music is like an escape for people like me, like us.

When life gets hard, you're there in our loneliness. The way your mellifluous voice calms our mind and eases our agony is ineffable. When you said, "Kahte hain khuda ne iss jahan mein sabhi ke liye, kisi na kisi ko hai banaya har kisi ke liye", I felt it. I was filled with a surfeit of hope that maybe, someday when the time is right, it will happen

Thanking you isn't really enough to express how grateful I'm to you for saving me from chaos and healing me time and again. But, thank you for all the songs you've blessed us with. From falling in love to falling out of it, you have a song and this is what makes you special, and the one and only "Arijit Singh".

Happy Birthday to you from all of us.

From,

Just another girl taking refuge in your songs
